  3. Simple Walnut Pesto Recipe

    The cool of Fall has settled in and we're all searching for some serious comfort food. This Pesto Pasta recipe, created by our Food and Beverage manager Cody, has all of the comfort you could want without being heavy or overwhelming. 

    Pesto Pasta

    Ingredients
    1 cup basil 
    1 cup parsley
    ¾ cup Ferris walnuts
    3 cloves garlic
    2 tbs lemon juice 
    ½ cup olive oil 
    4 TBS parmesan cheese
    ½ tsp salt
    ½ tsp black pepper

    Directions
    1. Combine all ingredients except olive oil in food processor.
    2. Process on high, and slowly drizzle in olive oil.
    3. Serve with 1 pound of pasta.

  4. JP's Coffee Announcement!

    The news is out!  As many of you know, JP’s Coffee in Holland, MI originally became part of the Ferris family in 2014. We are excited to announce that starting early 2018, JP's will undergo a complete remodel and will re-open in the Spring of 2018 as Ferris Coffee—Holland. The shop will remain in its current location with many of the familiar faces and same comfortable culture that have been a part of the café for the last 20+ years. We are excited to expand the Ferris name to Holland and build off of the culture and culinary appreciation of the area.     With ArtPrize in full-swing, we’re feeling pretty artsy. The main theme of ArtPrize Nine is having the courage to make your mark, whether that be at work or in your everyday life. We decided to look within our company to see what kind of art is being made by our employees every day! At Ferris, many of our team members are artists whether they know it or not.
