  1. Make your Mark: ArtPrize Nine

ArtPrize season is here and we couldn’t be more ready. ArtPrize Nine is all about honoring the creativity and courage that it takes to make your mark. It takes serious courage to step out and create something, whether it be a painter attempting a new work of art or a barista creating a signature drink. We are here to celebrate those risks and their creative outcomes.

As the Official Coffee Sponsor of ArtPrize Nine, we decided to choose our Brazil Primavera as the ArtPrize coffee. This coffee, as its name might allude, comes from the Primavera Farm in Brazil. They, in their own way, have taken courageous steps as they have become one of the most sustainable farms in Brazil... continue reading →

  2. Matcha Smoothie Recipe

Matcha green tea has endless amazing benefits. It has been known to help improve brain function, increase overall physical health, aid in weight loss, and the antioxidants in green tea help lower your risk of getting cancer. The cherry on top of all of these great health benefits is this: green tea actually tastes good. In fact, it tastes delicious!

Thats why we fell in love with this Matcha Smoothie. The light sweetness and full body of the matcha balance perfectly with the rich flavor of the almond butter and make for an amazing (and healthy) breakfast smoothie!

    Matcha Smoothie

    Ingredients

  3. New Coffee Packaging is here!

Our new packaging is easy on the eyes and it provides us with the opportunity to give you an incredible coffee experience. Not only will it house the coffee you love and keep it fresh, but this packaging is made with the intention of sharing the stories behind the beans.

So, what exactly changed? The answer is…everything! (except the delicious, freshly-roasted coffee inside the bag, of course). We chose a 12 oz. block-bottom bag that stands up naturally, making storage a lot easier. We also transitioned to a zipper seal as opposed to a tin tie. This will help keep your coffee at optimum freshness—even after the bag has been opened!

We also updated the messaging on the bag to better... continue reading →

  4. Pistachio Vinaigrette Recipe

Salads, in our opinion, are only as good as their dressing. Of course it’s important to use local produce. And yes, fresh ingredients and creativity are important factors. But let's face it, no one wants to chomp down on a forkful of dry arugula. If you’re looking to mix up your salad game and want to branch out from ranch or balsamic dressings, our Pistachio Vinaigrette might be just what you need.

    Pistachio Vinaigrette

    Ingredients
½  cup Ferris roasted salted pistachios
    ½  cup olive oil
    Juice of 2 navel oranges
    2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
    1.5 tsp black pepper

    Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for 60 seconds. Recommended with arugula, romaine, or your favorite salad green.

    Enjoy!
