Our Women Certified Burundi Kinyovu comes from a co-op and washing station that's part owned and operated by local women. This means that all compensation they earn goes directly to the women workers, who in turn use the money to invest in their family’s needs. The co-op is directly affiliated with the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA) whose mission is “to support and encourage the participation of women in all aspects of the coffee industry.” By purchasing a bag of this coffee, not only will you be supporting the women who have produced it, but you will also be supporting the IWCA’s efforts to empower women across the globe.
Your coffee is roasted-to-order.
