New to us this year, this coffee gets it's name from the Mugaga Farmer's Cooperative Society in Nyeri, Kenya. The co-op is made up of 1,570 farmers and five different mills. The co-op organizes regular agronomy trainings for its farmer members including training, input access, good agricultural practice seminars, and a sustainable farming handbook that's updated and distributed annually.
From the same importer friends whom we source Kenya Thirikwa, this coffee produces bold, unique flavors that amplify the region’s ability to produce specialty coffees. Scoring at an impressive 88 points, Mugaga has tasting notes of pineapple, peach, citrus, maple, and brown sugar that will magnify if you choose to enjoy it as a pour over. Whatever way you brew, you will certainly be able to appreciate and savor every drop.
