Lush Gourmet Foods was established in 2011, but has been a cherished family tradition for generations. Bisera Urdarevik, the founder, is a professionally trained pastry chef; however, her first experiences came from spending time in the kitchen as a child with her Mother and Grandmother preparing perfect peanuts for family and friends. During her time at culinary school, Bisera began to use her family’s beloved recipe as inspiration and decided to share it with the world. Her passion to produce an exceptional product is present in every batch.

In the year 2016, Lush Gourmet was acquired by Ferris Coffee & Nut Co. Ferris saw the potential in the Lush products but more importantly saw the budding possibilities Bisera could bring to the team. Her perspective in the food industry as a female entrepreneur was unique and brought immeasurable value. With product development skills and attention to flavor, she has been able to develop new combinations for a number of different customers.
