Costa Rica La Lia
This innovative coffee comes to us from Costa Rica in the Tarrazu region from a mill named La Lia and is run by Luis Alberto Monge. Using an experimental process of laying whole cinnamon sticks on the drying coffee beans, this coffee has powerful, full cinnamon flavor impacted into it- no additives needed!
If you've ever tasted flavored coffee but want a more pure, sophisticated drink, La Lia is absolutely made for you! Tasting notes of cinnamon graham cracker and smooth strawberry malt meld together to form a creamy and shockingly distinct profile.
While the La Lia mill can produce 600-700 bags of coffee per year, this particular experimental coffee only produced about ten bags- and we got one! With only about 132 lbs. to offer, our price reflects the extreme rarity of this coffee and ensures a fair price was paid to the producer.
